2nd International contest of digital journalism starts accepting applications

The Russkiy Mir Foundation announces the launch of the 2nd International #RuMirDigital Digital Journalism Competition. The competition is held with the aim of developing the Russian-language segment of the Internet, supporting foreign electronic media in Russian.

Competition nominations:

- The best account of a foreign Russian-language media in a social network;
- Popular author's blog (account).

The year 2021 has been declared the Year of Science and Technology in Russia. Therefore, the special theme of the competition is “Russian Science”. The best online project and the best blog aimed at popularizing the scientific achievements of Russian scientists will be awarded a special prize.

Works are accepted from March 15 to August 30, 2021.

Russian-language journalists and bloggers, as well as students of journalism faculties are invited to participate in the competition.

The prize awarded as a result of the competition is a professional award and is intended to encourage the media, public organizations, as well as authors who have made a significant contribution to the development of the Russian segment of the Internet and popularize the preservation of the Russian language and culture abroad using social networks.
