Days of Russian Culture in Serbia are ededicated to Dostoevsky

The Days of Russian Culture are opening in the Serbian city of Novi Sad with the Dostoevsky exhibition in Serbian Culture. The exposition opened on Thursday, March 18. The organizer is the Society of Compatriots and Friends of Russia together with the library of the city of Belgrade and the Novisad Fair with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

The exhibition is timed to celebrate the anniversary of the classic of world literature. This year marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great writer. Everyone is invited to the opening ceremony of the exposition, which will be held offline. The exhibits of the multimedia exhibition can be found in the city cultural center. Materials were collected from archives, museums, libraries, theaters and cinemas throughout the country.

Concerts prepared by Russian compatriots and creative teams of Vyborg are timed to the exhibition.

In addition, at the exposition one can learn about the little-known direct ties of the writer with the people of Serbia. The exhibition includes 15 posters. They are supplemented with annotations in Russian and Serbian.
