The results of the Living Classics competition, which took place in Tunisia, have been summed up.

Children of compatriots living in this country have been taking part in the tournament for the 4th year in a row. Children and teens aged 10 to 17 compete for victory. For some of them Russian is the native language, others study Russian as a foreign language.

The children recited excerpts from the works of Russian and foreign writers, chosen according to their own taste. Fragments of Dumas' novel The Three Musketeers, Hasek's The Adventures of the Good Soldier Schweik, Green's Scarlet Sails and many other works were performed.

The jury included experienced teachers of the Russian language and representatives of public organizations of compatriots. They confessed that they got a lot of pleasure from the performances, the competition was great.

The winners will travel to Russia, where they will represent Tunisia in the final round of the Live Classics competition.
