Russian President Vladimir Putin was vaccinated against coronavirus, TASS reports. This happened the day before, March 23. According to the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov, the president is feeling well. Today he has a regular working day.

The President did not specify which of the three domestically produced drugs he chose. This was done on purpose, since the Russian president has repeatedly noted that all three vaccines created in Russia are highly safe and effective.

Vladimir Putin did not turn vaccination into a public action, as, according to a Kremlin spokesman, "he does not like it."

Earlier, the head of state noted that the effective work of the health care system and the activities of research institutes helped to stabilize the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection in the country. According to him, the efforts of scientists and the entire healthcare system made it possible to preserve the lives and health of millions of Russians. Putin added that the number of people vaccinated against the coronavirus hds already exceeded six million people, of which more than four million have been fully vaccinated with two components of the drug. The head of state also said that vaccination against coronavirus in the Russian Federation should be as accessible and convenient as possible, the prospects for getting out of the restriction regime depend on this.
