Moscow is the leader among European cities in the number of electric buses, TASS reports. According to Anton Kulbachevsky, head of the Moscow Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection, the city began replacing buses with electric buses in 2018. He spoke about this during his speech at the "Ecology of a Big City" forum on the eve of March 23.

Systematic work continues, the head of the department assured. At the beginning of this year, about 600 electric buses go down more than 40 routes. Over 100 charging stations have been installed in Moscow.

In 2021, the Moscow authorities are going to add 400 buses. And in the next couple of years, 1200 more electric buses will be added to them.

It is planned that by 2030 the entire Mosgortrans park will be environmentally friendly.
