A special section for residents of foreign countries will complement the program of the next season of the Leaders of Russia competition for managers, TASS reports.

According to Aleksey Komissarov, who heads the ANO Russia - the Land of Opportunities, foreigners have been taking part in the competition for two years already. During this time, more than 3,000 people from almost 70 countries have applied for participation. There are both finalists and winners among them. He noted that interest in Russia is growing all the time. Many people want to live and work here.

Among the students of Russian universities, the number of foreigners exceeds 200,000. About 75,000 people receive their diplomas every year. Most, of course, go home, but many would like to stay in Russia. And the international section of the competition will provide them and their compatriots from abroad with additional opportunities.

Contestants must be no older than 55 years old, have at least two years of management experience, and know Russian at a level sufficient to complete the tests. They will also need to prove their foreign citizenship.

Competitors of the international track will undergo both general testing for knowledge of Russia and perform tasks in their specialty. Participants will test their knowledge of geography, history, culture, economics and law.

The Leaders of Russia competition is the flagship project of the Russia - Land of Opportunities platform launched in 2017 by President Vladimir Putin. The project is an attempt to create social lifts for talented and active Russians. There are no restrictions on place of residence and citizenship in the competition. The main condition is that everyone who wants to join the fight for victory must have a high level of command of the Russian language.
