Moscow ranked among top-3 for Covid-19 innovative solutions

Moscow was among the leaders in the international rating of innovations in the fight against coronavirus according to StartupBlink. The analytical center that studies ecosystems in various cities and countries ranked the Russian capital in 3rd place on the list. In this list, Moscow is ahead of Los Angeles, Seoul, Tel Aviv, Taipei and other large cities, according to the website of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

At the beginning of the pandemic, StartupBlink, together with the UN HIV / AIDS Program (UNAIDS) Health Innovation Marketplace, launched a map of innovative solutions, the most successful international practices for combating coronavirus were included to this list. Now the map, to which new data is regularly added, presents over 1,300 innovations from 40 countries.

Moscow is represented by 46 innovations that helped the city's residents during the pandemic. These included the Sputnik V vaccine, educational websites, artificial intelligence systems to help recognize covid pneumonia, and healthcare-related developments, delivery platforms and digital passes.
