Days of St. Petersburg will be held in Ho Chi Minh City

The organization of the Days of St. Petersburg in Ho Chi Minh City, which is planned to be held in the 4th quarter, and other joint events were discussed during the meeting by the Governor of the Russian city Alexander Beglov and the Ambassador of Vietnam to Russia Ngo Duc Manh. As part of the cooperation, a monument to Vietnamese President Ho Chi Minh and the Ho Chi Minh cultural and business center will appear in St. Petersburg, NIA Federation reports.

Ngo Duc Manh and Alexander Beglov took part in a conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Union of Communist Youth. The event took place in Smolny and became the first major joint event in a full-time format in a year. The conference was attended by students and cadets from Vietnam who study at Russian universities.

Alexander Beglov said that cooperation with Vietnam became one of the priorities of the government of the Russian city. The Days of St. Petersburg in Ho Chi Minh City are intended to intensify the interaction of the parties.

A visit to Vietnam of the administration of St. Petersburg and representatives of the business sector is planned to discuss cooperation in the field of business. The St. Petersburg administration is preparing to conclude agreements on cooperation with the committee of the Union of Communist Youth of Ho Chi Minh City.
