Students of the Russian School No. 1 in Marbella (Spain) and Russian-speaking children and adolescents from other countries took part in an online lecture dedicated to the life and work of the Russian poet Sergei Yesenin. The meeting took place within the framework of the RUDN University for Schoolchildren project, according to the Russian School No. 1 in Marbella on Facebook.

The students were addressed by Elena Lavrova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Teacher of the Faculty of Russian Language and General Education of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN). She managed to captivate the students with an interesting topic, after the end of the lecture, the participants were able to ask questions to the specialist.

The RUDN for Schoolchildren cycle includes lectures on the classics of Russian literature. In mid-March, students of Russian schools from different countries attended a lecture on mysticism in the life and work of Nikolai Gogol. Another project of the Russian School No. 1 in Marbella, Our Dear Rus, allows schoolchildren to learn a lot of new and interesting things about Russian culture and history.
