The acceptance of applications for the 3rd All-Turkish Competition of Translators from Russian into Turkish and from Turkish into Russian has started. It is organized by the Association of Continuing Education Centers for Bilingual Children and the Association of Russian-Speaking Youth. The organizers are assisted by the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots and the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Turkey.

Aspiring translators, including those who do not have membership in any professional union of translators and have no more than three translated publications, can submit their works.

The organizing committee offers participants eight excerpts from works of fiction, both in prose and poetry. They all have different levels of difficulty. The winners will be named in two nominations - in Russian and Turkish.

Applications are accepted until mid-May. The action is aimed at developing cultural ties between the two countries. In addition, it will help popularize the works of Russian and Turkish writers, expand interest in the study of Russian and Turkish languages.
