The results of the championship in reading aloud for high school students have been summed up in Spain. This is reported by the website of the Union of Organizations of Russian Compatriots in Spain and Andorra. This year, young compatriots from almost all Spanish cities where Russian compatriots live en masse joined the participants.

The Russian-speaking diaspora is organizing the tournament for the 2nd time. This year it was held online.

During the competition, participants without preparation read an unfamiliar text of a literary work in Russian. The jury evaluates the reading technique and artistry of the performers.

The Page Championship has been held since 2014 in Russia and other countries. Earlier,  France, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan and other countries joined the movement. The project was supported by the Russian State Children's Library, the Uchitelskaya Gazeta newspaper and other organizations.

The tournament was initiated by Mikhail Faustov, the owner of a bookstore in Novosibirsk. High school students aged 14 to 17 are invited to participate in the competition.
