55% of German residents have expressed a desire to be vaccinated against the coronavirus with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine. This is evidenced by the results of the Yougov poll, RIA Novosti reports.

Less than 20% of respondents do not want to be vaccinated with the Russian drug. Another 14% could not answer the question, and 12% do not want to be vaccinated at all. In February, 45% of the study participants expressed their readiness to be vaccinated with Sputnik V.

The day before, the Bavarian Ministry of Health signed a memorandum of intent with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF). The head of the government of Bavaria, Markus Söder, is confident that if Europe registers the Russian drug, Bavaria will have up to two and a half million doses of the vaccine by mid-summer. During the year in Bavaria, the release of the vaccine can be established at the production site of R-Pharm Germany.
