Sputnik V to be produced in Iran, Serbia and Italy

The production of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine will soon begin at Serbian and Iranian factories, TASS reports. According to the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev, in a few months, the drug will be launched in Italy.

The head of the RDIF added that the vaccine is produced in Belarus and Kazakhstan. He assured that RDIF is entering into partnerships with many countries and with a variety of companies.

It is planned to reach full production capacity of Sputnik V abroad in April. RDIF has entered into agreements with 20 manufacturers from 10 countries. Еhe production of Sputnik V in Russia is now carried out at 7n sites: in the Gamalei Center, Binnopharme, Biocade, Generium, R-Pharm, Lecco and Pharmstandard.
