The festival of Russian culture will take place this fall in Guanacaste, one of the largest provinces of Costa Rica, according to the website of the Moscow Compatriot House. It is planned that the cultural forum will coincide with the celebration of the Day of National Unity.

This issue was discussed with the local authorities by Russian Ambassador Yuri Bedzhanyan, who was invited to visit the cities of Carillo and Liberia. Meetings were held with the authorities of the region, parliamentarians, representatives of business circles, tourism business. The meeting was also attended by compatriots, since a large-scale Russian-speaking community lives in the province.

The high-ranking Russian diplomat spoke at an extraordinary meeting of the Municipal Council of the city of Carillo, dedicated to the development of Russian-Costa Rican interregional ties and investment projects. The participants in the meetings noted a number of promising areas of interaction between the two countries, which are of interest to both sides.
