It will take 3 years to complete the construction of a high-speed highway, which should connect Moscow and Kazan, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin. He has told this during his speech with the Address to the Federal Assembly, according to the website of the President of the Russian Federation. During the same time, the road will be continued to Yekaterinburg, the head of state promised.

Vladimir Putin noted that by 2024 the movement of cars through the European territory of the country, from the Baltic to the Ural Mountains, should be ensured, taking into account the already built high-speed highway between Moscow and St. Petersburg and the Central Ring Road (TsKAD) around the capital. The funds for the construction of key roads will be allocated from the National Wealth Fund.

It is not enough just to build a road between the end points, the President reminded. The supporting infrastructure should pull up the development of all territories through which it passes. The head of state considers it necessary to develop the road network in the regions. He proposed to do this, in particular, through infrastructure loans.

Also, during the message, the president promised the Russians the gasification of land plots; the corresponding work should be clearly planned by the regional authorities. He promised to check the implementation of the order personally.
