The Czech authorities continue to unleash a campaign against Russia, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry. This was announced to the Czech Ambassador Vitezslav Pivonka, who was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that by its actions Prague is destroying relations with Moscow, using "falsified pretexts" for this. The Czech ambassador was once again reminded that one cannot speak with Russia in the language of ultimatums.

The head of the Czech diplomatic mission was vigorously protesting against the additional restrictive measures taken against the employees of the Russian Embassy in Prague. In retaliation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs demanded to reduce the number of employees of the Czech embassy in Moscow, taking into account "a significant disparity in the category of those taken on the spot." In addition, Russia reserved the right to take other steps in the further unleashing of the "hysterical anti-Russian campaign in the Czech Republic."

Earlier, the Czech authorities decided to downsize the number of Russian diplomats in Prague. They must leave the Czech Republic by the end of next month.
