Conference for RSL teachers will be held in Australia

The development of teaching aids and training programs in Russian schools, as well as preparation for taking the exam in Russian as a foreign language (RSL) will be the main topics of the conference, which will be held from April 23 to May 2, the Edinenie newspaper reports.

The event, aimed at leaders and teachers of Russian schools abroad, is being held by the Romashka school from the Australian city of Gold Coast with the support of educational institutions from Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, as well as the Russian Center from Brno, Czech Republic, which was opened by the Russkiy Mir Foundation at the Masaryk University.

The organizers note that the conference will be practice-oriented. The organizers have prepared a mixed program - the conference will be hosted by the Gold Coast and Brisbane in person, the working language will be English. The online conference in Russian will be attended by teachers, authors and publishers of textbooks for bilingual children. The results of the conference will be summed up at a round table.
