Newsections -  "Gallery of Warriors" and "June 22" - were launched on the eve of Victory Day on the Russkoe Pole website "Russian Field", the online portal of the All-German Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots.

The editorial board of the website urged compatriots to send photos of ancestors and relatives who participated in the Great Patriotic War, as well as residents of besieged Leningrad and home front workers. The photos will be posted in the "Warriors Gallery" section, which will become permanent.

Another new heading - "June 22" - is dedicated to the pre-war period, the last days of peaceful life, destroyed by the attack of the Nazis. The section will display photographs depicting the ancestors of Russian compatriots in the pre-war period.

It is also suggested to send to the site stories about relatives-war veterans, battles and life in the rear. They will be placed in the "Immortal Regiment" section. According to representatives of the website, the purpose of the new headings is to preserve the memory of the exploits of Soviet soldiers and tell children about them.
