The Czech Security and Information Service did not provide evidence of the involvement of "Russian agents" in the 2014 explosions at the Vrbetica ammunition depot. This was told by the President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman, who said that the report of the said service noted the absence of evidence and evidence of the presence of "agents" in the territory of the warehouses, TASS reports.

The Czech leader also released information that no explosive device was found in the second warehouse, which was examined before the explosion. The President stressed that the Security and Information Service had not mentioned the explosion for six years, and the version about "Russian agents" appeared only in recent weeks.

Milos Zeman said that along with the version about the actions of foreign special services, the Czech investigation is considering the likelihood of careless handling of ammunition. The President of the Czech Republic called on the residents of the country to wait for the publication of the results of the investigation and promised that the information would be made public.

The accusation of Russia in the involvement of its special agents in the explosions from the Czech Republic caused a major diplomatic scandal, which turned into the expulsion of embassy employees in both countries. According to Zeman, if the investigation proves that Russia was not involved in the incident, this "could have serious consequences for our domestic political life."
