Russian Word International Theater Festival will be held in South Korea

The International Children's and Youth Theater Festival "Russian Word" will be held for the 4th time in South Korea, the event will open on May 1 online. In addition to the performances, the program includes webinars dedicated to studying in Russian abroad, according to the website of the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots (KSORS) in the Republic of Korea.

The program includes performances staged by theaters and school studios from Russia, South Korea, Japan, the Netherlands and Northern Cyprus. The theater show was organized by the AppleTree educational complex with the support of the Russian Embassy, ​​Rossotrudnichestvo and KSORS in South Korea. The performances will be shown on the YouTube channel of the festival organizers.

The performances will be judged by a professional jury. In addition to theatrical shows, a theatrical quiz and webinars are planned on the preservation of the Russian language in the families of compatriots and the teaching of the Russian language abroad.
