All Russians were taken out of Tanzania after air traffic with this country was suspended, RIA Novosti reports. Russian air carriers returned to their homeland more than 4,000 people. This required the airlines to make 12 flights.

The evacuation of Russian citizens was organized by the Federal Air Transport Agency. The campaign started on April 15.

Moscow again resumed restrictions on flights to Turkey and Tanzania two weeks ago. The reason for this decision was the worsening epidemiological situation in foreign countries. Both regular and charter flights are discontinued. The decision will be valid until the beginning of summer.
