The ARTIST creative center under the guidance of the famous composer and songwriter for popular cartoons Grigory Gladkov continues to accept entries for the third International festival and competition of tongue twisters, which is being held online. Videos with tongue twisters are accepted until May 10, according to the website of the Union of Russian Societies in Sweden.

Applications for the competition accepted from participants regardless of age and country of residence. The contestants were offered to record videos with the pronunciation of a tongue twister, which the participant can choose independently. Winners and awardees will receive an award from 1,000 to 5,000 rubles, they will be able to take part in painting lessons and a master class by Grigory Gladkov.

The competition was reportedly born during the quarantine period caused by the coronavirus and was intended to bring people from different countries together. Participation in the festival encourages Russians and residents of other states to get acquainted with tongue twisters, pay attention to the phonetic features of the Russian language, develop memory, diction and artistic presentation. The festival was supported by leading Russian actors and the Russkiy Mir Foundation.
