Students of Greek universities who study Russian will prepare presentations on the Russian language and space exploration, as well as the heroes of the Greek revolution, as part of a competition announced by the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots in Greece and the Athens University "Pantheon", the website of the RCC in Greece reports.

The competition is open to students studying Russian as part of the development of non-core specialties. At the first stage, participants need to make presentations with slides on the chosen topic in Russian or Greek.

The works will be evaluated by an international commission, which will take into account not only the level of Russian language proficiency, but also the efforts of the students. The second stage will open on May 21 and will be held remotely. Participants will be able to speak on the topic they are studying in the format of a free conversation.

The best participants will receive valuable gifts and diplomas; in case of a favorable epidemiological situation, an educational trip will be organized for them.
