Russian Center at the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies celebrates 10 years anniversary

The Russian Center opening at one of the leading universities in China in the third largest city of the country (Guangzhou) "became a confirmation of the friendship of the two countries and active mutually beneficial cooperation between our people," underlined the executive director of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Vladimir Kochin in his message of congratulation to to the rector of the university, Professor Zhong Weihe. 

Guangdong University of Foreign Languages and Foreign Trade is a dynamically developing advanced educational institution, well known for the high quality of teaching in various fields and areas of modern science. Guangdong University is one of the major centers of Russian studies in China, with rigorous training of future Russian specialists who aim to participate in developing relations between our countries. 

“The Russian Center of your university has rightfully become a guide of Russian culture in the south of China, as evidenced by the numerous scientific and practical conferences, round tables, seminars, meetings with leading researchers from Russia. Your Center’s achievements are the result of the efforts of its staff with the support of the university administration and the Russkiy Mir Foundation,” says V. Kochin's message.
