Exhibition of paintings by Russian artists opened in Tartu

On May 28, an exhibition of 50 Russian artists opened in Tartu. It is organized by the Tartu City Society of Slavic Cultures with the support of the Russian Center of the Tallinn Pushkin Institute.

The project involves 50 artists from different cities of Estonia, members of the Association of Russian Artists in Estonia, the Westervalli Art Association, Autori Foto, Kunsti Sadam, as well as free artists.

The current exhibition, "Russian ART of Estonia", brings together mainly contemporary artists from different schools, different genres and trends. Among the participants there are both famous and very young painters.

The exhibition presents 145 works of different genres, performed in various techniques of fine art: painting, graphics, watercolors, pastels, ceramic and stone mosaics, computer graphics, batik, photo collage, mixed techniques.

Dialogue Publishing House has prepared for visitors a color catalog of the exhibition in 2 languages, where you can find brief information about the work of each of the 50 artists, see their photographs, a list of exhibited works and an illustration of one of the paintings selected by the artist for the catalog.
