22 Vietnamese schoolchildren and students took part in the international summer linguistic and cultural online school. For 10 days, they studied oral and written Russian, practiced colloquial speech and studied the culture of the Tambov Territory, the Tambov Courier newspaper reports.

The winners of the “Culture of the Russian province through the eyes of Vietnamese youth” marathon, which became a joint project of the two countries, became the participants of the program. The marathon was held by the Provincial Estates organization and the Hanoi branch of the Pushkin Institute of the Russian Language.

During the marathon, the participants demonstrated their knowledge of the Russian language and culture, made presentations and videos on these topics, and defended their projects in front of an international jury, which included Russian teachers. The project, supported by the Presidential Grants Fund, has become an important contribution to strengthening ties between the two countries.
