Delegations from 15 countries celebrated 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod

20 foreign delegations from 15 states took part in the celebrations in honor of the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod. The region was visited by representatives of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Italy, Slovakia, Uzbekistan and other countries, the progorodnn.ru website reports.

The foreign guests visited show programs, museums, exhibitions, met with businessmen and public activists, followed cultural and tourist routes.

Delegations from Brazil, Hungary, Croatia, Germany and other states are expected  to visit the city by the end of the year.

The celebrations dedicated to the anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod took place on Saturday, August 21.
