On September 21, the air traffic will be resumed with four more countries, RIA Novosti reports. Direct flights will soon head to Spain, Slovakia, Kenya and Iran.

Additional flights to Turkish resorts are launched from Pskov, Magadan, Murmansk and Chita.

In addition, Moscow has lifted all restrictions on flights to and from welarus. Air traffic between the two countries is fully resumed.

The Belarusian air carrier Belavia has already announced that the number of flights to Russian cities will increase. Belavia is planning to increase the number of flights to the CIS countries to make up for restrictions introduced by some European countries after the Ryanair incident.

The Ryanair plane, flying from Greece to Lithuania, had to urgently land in Minsk, as a message was received about a bomb on board. The explosive device was not found, but among the passengers was Roman Protasevich, the founder of the Nexta Telegram channel, recognized as extremist in Belarus. Protasevich was detained.

Europeans expressed their indignation at the actions of Minsk. Brussels called for banning flights over Belarus and promised to introduce new sanctions.
