RT Projects win six gold awards at New York Festivals

Russian TV channel RT has won six gold awards at the New York Festivals, RIA Novosti reports. In total, the channel has scored 10 awards.

A recreation of the historical photograph, which depicts the hoisting of the Victory Banner over the Reichstag, became the best in theDocumentary / Information Program Promotion category.

The VR movieLessons from Auschwitzdedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration campby Soviet troops won gold in the Video Art & Experimental Film, Production Design / Art Direction and Innovationcategories.

The video seriesThe War: children’s drawings in VR animationreceived gold in the Animation category and bronze in the Use of technology category.

In total, RT was nominated in 18 categories of the competition, and won nine awards – two gold, four silver and three bronze.
