Russian figure skaters have swept the medal standings of the Budapest Trophy international figure skating tournament, which took place in Hungary. Maya Khromykh won the gold medal, Anna Shcherbakova and Sofya Samodurova took the 2nd and the 3rd place, respectively, TASS reports.

The Russians have once again proved their superiority, beating their rivals by a solid margin. 15-year-old Maya Khromykh got almost 225 points for the short and free program, two points ahead of her closest rival. Khromykh is a group member of the renowned Russian coach Eteri Tutberidze and the Russia's Cup silver medal holder. Anna Shcherbakova is the reigning world champion and medalist of the European Championship. Sofya Samodurova has a gold medal in the European championship.
