Polish people do not forget the heroes who sacrified their lives for peace and freedom of the peoples of Europe. Every year, in honor of All Saints' Day, (celebrated on November 1), residents of cities and villages come to the cemeteries. They light candles, placing them on the graves of their relatives, the Kursk community writes on Facebook.

Traditionally,  Polish citizens also bring flowers and light memorial candles at mass graves and monuments to Soviet soldiers.

Many candles were lit at a military cemetery in Slupsk. They were brought to military graves by ordinary people.

Let us remember, the Russian Cultural and Educational Society have organiszd commemorative actions in Bialystok, that coincide with the holiday of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God and the Day of National Unity, celebrated on November 4.
