Exhibition of Russian and South Korean regions kicks off in Ulsan

The exhibition of the regions of Russia and South Korea has started within the framework of the 3rd Russian-Korean forum of interregional cooperation. it is hosted by Ulsan, South Korea's seventh-largest metropolitan city. The Russian regions presented their economic and tourism advantages, the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in Ulan-Ude writes on Facebook.

The Russian Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexei Chekunkov opened the exhibition, he was joined by the head of Buryatia Alexei Tsydenov and the mayor of Ulsan Son Chol Ho. Representatives of Buryatia spoke about the development of the republic and its potential in tourism, medicine and investment.

The program of the forum included sessions and meetings with partners from different states, authorities and deputies of South Korea. In particular, cooperation between Russia, South Korea and the DPRK in the field of railway and air transport was discussed.

Russia and South Korea opened the Year of Mutual Exchanges last spring. This program is timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
