Films from 11 countries presented at Radiant Angel charity festival

The Radiant Angel Film Festival opens on Monday, November 1, the website of the Russian Orthodox Church reports. The charity film forum is held for the 18th time.

The festival program includes films intended for children, as well as for family viewing. A movie thater at the Victory Museum was chosen for the screenings. The festival will be held in strict observance of sanitary safety standards.

The organizers received more than 350 applications for participation from 22 countries. Filmmakers from France, Portugal, Canada, Turkey, Latvia and other countries sent their works.

The program of the festival includes more than 150 films from 11 countries. 90 films are taking part in the competition in four nominations. The jury will name the best feature films, documentaries, short films and animation films.

The Good Cinema script competition is scheduled to take place within the framework of the festival. It is held every two years. The selection committee have chosen 14 scenarios, of which three are debut. All participants represent Russia.

In addition to film screenings, creative meetings and interactive exhibitions are preprared for the guests.
