Russian-Ukrainian team wins international Counter-Strike tournament

The Russian-Ukrainian team Natus Vincere has won the main competition in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) cybersport discipline. The tournament was held in Stockholm, TASS reports. 

In total, 24 teams fought for the victory. The Natus Vincere team unites two Ukrainians Alexander s1mple Kostylev and Valery B1t Vakhovsky, as well as three Russians: Denis electronic Sharipov, Kirill BoombI4 Mikhailov and Ilya Perfecto Zalutsky.

During the competition, their rivals did not stand a chance, as the team did not have a single defeat. S1mple was named the most valuable player in the competition.

The prize fund of the tournament is two million dollars. 50% of this amount goes to the best team. It is the first victory for Natus Vincere at the major competition.
