Russian Culture Week starts in Argentina

The festival of Russian culture opens on Tuesday, November 9, in Argentina, TASS reports. It will be hosted by cultural centers, universities and theaters of Tucuman (northwest Argentina.)

The festival is going to include an exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of the legendary Russian ballet - The Nutcracker. It is timed to coincide with the 180th anniversary of the great composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky, which was celebrated last year.

The best photos of the Most Beautiful Country competition will also be displayed in Argentina. Its authors managed to capture the beauty of Russian nature and most famous historical sights. 
 
Works by Russian composers will be performed during a series of concerts. In additioan to that, adults and children will be invited to screenings of cartoons and Russian films dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Soyuzmultfilm cartoon studio.

Russian higher education and its advantages will be presented to teachers and students, who can choose to continue their education in Russia.
