The exhibition, timed to coincide with the 200th anniversary of Fyodor Dostoevsky, began working in Barcelona, TASS reports. It is organized by the Russian House in Barcelona charitable foundation.

Modern museum technologies have made it possible to combine the stylistics of Dostoevsky's time, and modern design.

The exposition consists of two parts. Works by Italian artist Valeria Brancoforte are presented in the first hall. She created illustrations for Dostoevsky's works specially for the exhibition. In the second section, everyone will be able to immerse into the world of the writer and his time, to interact with his characters.

According to the head of the foundation Anna Siliunas, the exhibition brings the image of the great writer closer to the reader. She is sure that this is very important, especially for young people. A lot of space in the exhibition is devoted to Dostoevsky's St.Petersburg; audio effects recreate the sounds of the city.

The exposition will run until the end of January.
