Greek authorities recognize Russia's Sputnik V vaccine, General Secretary at Ministry of Health, Marios Themistokleous, said. According to him, difficulties arise with an app that cannot read the QR code of the Russian drug, RIA Novosti reports.

Greece receives many tourists, but the app used for vaccination certificates does not recognize all QR codes from third countries. Several cases have occurred when tourists were refused to be served in cafes and restaurants.

According to Themistokleous, it is enough to show the vaccination certificate in paper in places like that.
