The French Memoire Russe ("Russian memory") association plans to restore a number of necropolises and graves, including Russian and Soviet ones, the association writes on its Facebook page.

In particular, it is planned to restore the necropolis of Tourcuan (northern France), as well as the burial place of the Russian pilot Viktor Fedorov in Saint-Cloud. Fedorov participated in the First World War as part of the French aviation.

The Memoire Russe association will hold a series of memorial events on November 11 to celebrate the anniversary of the end of the First World War. In particular, flower-laying and commemorative ceremonies will take place at two Russian military necropolises in France.
