Israeli authorities are reopening borders for Russian citizens vaccinated with the Sputnik V vaccine, RIA Novosti reports. Only those who have not been in the "red zone'' country for two weeks will be allowed into Israeli territory. However, to date Israel has not declared any country "red."

Sputnik V vaccinated will have to remain in quarantine until the results of a serological test are received.

The Israeli Ministry of Tourism clarified that although Sputnik V will be recognized from November 15, travelers will be able to enter Israel from December 1. This is due to the technical peculiarities of the entry procedure.

At least two weeks and no more than six months should pass from the moment the second dose of the vaccine is recieved. In case of revaccination, at least two weeks should pass by the time of entry into Israel. Foreign tourists will have to do a PCR test before boarding the plane and after the end of the flight.
