The Festival of folk art took place in Budapest, the website of the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots Organizations reports.

The cultural forum has long become a tradition among the Russian emigrants; this year, it has been held for the 12th time in a row. The representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Russian Cultural Center in Budapest act as its organizers.

The festival is a platform where everyone can show their talents. Russians are joined by bands and performers of other nationalities living in Hungary. They are united by love for Russian culture and art.

About 100 people took part at the festival this year. This list included vocal and instrumental bands, dance groups, soloists from five regions of Hungary, as well as the choir of the Tesla Serbian Cultural Educational Center from Budapest.
