Apps for mastering Russian pronunciation developed in Kazan

Specialists from Kazan Federal University (KFU) have created several mobile applications for foreign students, Realnoe Vremya reports. The apps are designed to help foreigners practice their pronunciation skills in Russian.

In total, the university presented three apps: Studerus, Studerus Game and "School of Owls - KFU". Studerus are Studerus Game meant for international students, with the latter offering a playing mode for teaching listening. The third application is designed for children who are learning to read and pronounce letters, syllables and words correctly.

The KFU explained that, while language learning mobile apps ​​are widespread on the iOS market, there are practically no apps for mastering pronunciation.
