Defense Ministry: Russian military helped more than 15 countries fight COVID-19

The Russian military has helped more than 15 countries in countering the coronavirus pandemic, said Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. According to him, the list includes CIS countries, and other states TASS reports. The Russian Defense Minister has promised that this work would continue.

Large-scale humanitarian assistance was provided to the residents of Cuba, Syria, Afghanistan, Armenia, Sergei Shoigu said. He also recalled that now all interested parties have to make efforts to establish a peaceful life in Syria.

 Shoigu is sure that now it is of great importance to study and analyze the results of the work done, and to determine how the process of providing humanitarian assistance is going to unfold in the future.
