Russian Center in Thessaloniki took part in international book exhibition

The Russian Center in Thessaloniki took part in the 18th International Book Exhibition, which took place November 25-28. The exhibition was organized by the Helekspo exposition complex, together with the Writers' Union of Northern Greece, and the Barbunakis and Altandzis publishing houses.

The head of the Russian Center Natalia Suponitskaya gave a welcoming speech on the first day of the exhibition, noting the importance of Russian-Greek cooperation in the field of literature and book publishing,.

On November 28, the president of the Writers 'Union of Northern Greece A. Daphnomilis gave a lecture dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Feodor Dostoevsky.

Representatives of the Barbunakis and Altandzis publishing houses, as well as a representative of the General Consulate of the Russian Federation in Thessaloniki thanked the Russian Center in Thessaloniki for its active work in popularizing the Russian language and culture.
