Russian language ambassadors to hold сlasses for Turkish ыchoolchildren

The next expedition of the Ambassadors of the Russian Language in the World program started on December 20 in Turkey. Seven volunteers came from different regions of Russia have arrived to the country. 

During the week, the ambassadors will conduct classes with Turkish schoolchildren in Antalya. Classes will also be held at the Moscow International School. 

During the expedition, volunteers will hold thematic classes and intellectual games in the Russian language, literature, history and culture of Russia. The expedition will last until December 26, 2021.

The Ambassadors of the Russian Language in the World international volunteer program was launched 6 years ago. About 300 students and postgraduates from Russian and foreign universities have already taken part in it.

The project is aimed at introducing young people abroad to the Russian language and culture. The project participants go on educational expeditions to foreign countries and Russian regions. The motto of the volunteers of the program is to make the whole world fall in love with Russia. In preparation for expeditions, volunteers learn the basics of teaching the Russian language, project activities, diplomatic relations with other countries.
