Russian souvenirs and sweets sold at Christmas markets in Peru and Jordan

Residents of Peru and Jordan tasted Russian pastries and sweets, and bought New Year's souvenirs at Christmas fairs that took place in the capitals of the countries, the Russian Foreign Ministry website reports

In Lima, the Russian embassy took part in a charity Christmas event organized by the Congress of Peru. The kids received gifts from the embassy, ​​including sweets from Russia.

The Russian diplomatic mission also installed a New Year's photo zone, which introduced young Peruvians to Russian Father Frost and Snegurochka.

The Christmas market took place in Amman. The participants of the needlework club and the Nadezhda women's club presented their artwork to the visitors -  nesting dolls, Russian scarves and other souvenirs, knitted items, sweets, pastries and other goods.
