The art exhibition started on December 22 in the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Buenos Aires, TASS reports. The opening date was not chosen by chance. It was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the first delivery of the Sputnik V vaccine to the Latin American country.

The exhibition was initiated by the Racing Football Club. The club noted that the Russian drug, delivered to Argentina, gave the residents of the country hope for life. The importance of this vaccine cannot be overstated.

Argentina uses three drugs for vaccination, including Sputnik V. Studies show that more than 90 percent of Argentines vaccinated with Sputnik V have acquired long-term immunity. This data was received by the Argentine National Scientific and Technical Research Council. According to the study, after the introduction of the Russian drug, more than nine out of ten vaccinated people develop the so-called T-cell (lymphocytic) immunity. This speaks of the long-term protection that a vaccinated person receives, experts say.
