Tyumen University proposes 50 Russian language courses for foreigners

Tyumen State University invites to take part in a new educational program in Russian as a foreign language and Russian culture. It was prepared with the participation of the Center for International Youth Initiatives, Tyumenskie Izvestia reports.

The program includes 50 short courses. They are designed for international students and teachers. Anyone interested in the Russian language and Russian culture are welcome to join them.

There are no limitations to the number of courses a person can choose. It all depends on the interests of the audience, the university explained. A variety of topics ranges from Russian speech etiquette to Internet resources and legal issues of education in Russia.

After completing the courses, it is planned to select 100 best students. They will be able to take tests in Russian as a foreign language for free.
