Compatriots in Germany discussed promotion of Russian language abroad

Participants in an online meeting of Russian compatriots living in Germany have shared their initiatives for events aimed at promoting the Russian language in Germany and perpetuating the memory of Soviet citizens who died and were buried in the country, Russkoe Pole reports.

The participants discussed the implementation of the decisions of the 7th World Congress of Compatriots Living Abroad, which was held in Moscow this autumn. The online conference brought together Russian compatriots from different regions of Germany, including RSL teachers, directors of Russian schools, activists of the youth wing of the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots in Germany.

They shared their experience and put forward initiatives on the most effective promotion of the Russian language in Germany, taking into account the peculiarities of the country. T

The participants also raised issues related to the work on perpetuating the memory of the citizens of the USSR buried in Germany.
