18th International Olympiad in Russian language starts accepting applications

Pupils of foreign schools who study Russian as a foreign language are invited to join the participants of the International Russian Language Olympiad. It is conducted by the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language.

The competition for the best connoisseurs of the Russian language will be held for the 18th time online.

To take part in the tournament, one needs to register on the "Education in Russian" website by the end of next month.

The qualifying stage will end on February 10. The semi-final will run until March 1. The final stage will end before March 20.

The winners will be selected in three nominations: high school students studying Russian as a foreign language, students of schools abroad with Russian as the language of instruction, and bilingual high school students.
