Chinese students went on online tour of Nizhny Novgorod

More than 150 students from China studying Russian were able to join a virtual tour of Nizhny Novgorod, organized by the Confucius Institute scientific and educational center at the Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University and the administration of the city. The students saw how Nizhny Novgorod was decorated for the New Year, and got acquainted with the sights of the city, the website of the Nizhny Novgorod administration reports.

Students of Nizhny Novgorod universities conducted excursions who for their Chinese peers. Local students spoke about the most striking streets and architecture of the city.

Jing Jinghua, head of the Confucius Institute, said that Nizhny Novgorod is especially fond of tourists from China. It attracts them with the history and objects related to the biography and work of one of the most famous residents of Nizhny Novgorod - Maxim Gorky.

The next online tour will be dedicated to the Gorky places of the Volga city.
